What is trauma?
Sometimes trauma comes in a brief deeply disorienting life event. This could be the death of a loved one, a violation of your physical safety, or a deep betrayal.
These events shape the beliefs about ourselves and the world around us. It might sounds like “I’m not enough”, “I’m unlovable” or “I’m bad”. Through EMDR we will help shape up these beliefs to cultivate more self-compassion and a different perspective. Are you really unloveable? Or have you not been treated with love?
