I’m a EMDR Certified Therapist™ through EMDRIA.™ This process included completing over 100-hours of advanced EMDR training, education, and supervision.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based technique proven to help individuals process distressing memories, reduce the emotional charge tied to trauma, and promote lasting recovery. Whether you're navigating the aftermath of a recent difficult event or working to manage PTSD symptoms, our work together can help you reclaim peace, purpose, and confidence in your life.

We’ll work together to transform your inner world to support the life you want. When appropriate, I draw from Internal Family Systems, Feminist theory, and a Health Liberation Framework to support your goals.

Exploring Therapeutic Fit

About Me

I’m a white, queer, cis-woman trained in clinical social work. In therapy sessions, I have a relaxed and casual style. I love to use humor, when appropriate, and I definitely want to see photos of your pets/babies/plants/art etc. We are here to do hard work AND I want to get to know you as a whole person.

About You

I specialize in working with clients who describe themselves as motivated, ambitious, or driven but also feel shame, guilt, or anger. Perhaps you’ve experienced violence, hurt, or neglect in your life and have a suspicion that those experiences are still impacting you. Or maybe you’re recovering from recent a trauma or are newly motivated to explore old family wounds.

If any of these descriptions call to you, reach out. We may be a good therapeutic fit.

About Us

I strive to center my client’s agency throughout the therapeutic process and that includes how and when we discuss politics, power, identities, and our own relationship dynamics. The therapeutic space is not immune to the power dynamics of the world around us. I believe there is healing in naming this reality. I’ll let you set the pace as I welcome these conversations into our therapeutic relationship.
